the joys of work

I had a life, but then my work ate it.

aaa, the joys of growing up. One of my friends asked me if they needed any summer help at the library where I work. What a wonderful thought... a SUMMER job... wish i had one of those.. no, instead I have a real job. ( or enough little ones that all together it makes one real job. )

I'm almost finished the fair-isle sock i'm making!! I decided to try one of those stain-glass type sock the other day. Now, 2 months latter i'm almost done the first one. I decided to make it into s flip flop sock, only problem is that the only patterns i can find for them are either tow up or on size 6 needles... not realy what i'm looking for... why is nothing ever simple?

The play me and kate are currently in is comming to a close. Next week will be the last set of rehersal before opening night. For anyone interested in comming the dates are the last weekend in April, and the 1st and 3rd weekend in May, fri and saturday at 7:00 and sunday at 3:00

For the Love of Theatre

You have to admit, it is interesting how much one person will do for something they like.

Take Theatre for instance. We are in Swamp Meadow community Theatre, an would not beleive how much time one play can take out of your life. Right now we are doing William Shakespear's 12th Night, and other then the 2 3 hour rehearsels weekly, i'm on the SMCT committee, never mind all the practice to learn all those pointless lines of nonsense. But we do it, cause after 3 months of continous study and pratice we get 9 days of stresfilled fun.

and spinning... amazing what we do to keep spinning.
I spun all day yesterday, ( come on, it was an amazing wool and silk blend that was to die for ) but after hours of it, my wrist was killing me. After wearing an ace bandage all night, my wrist was still hearting this morning. Kate has to wear braced everyday cause of her knitting.... it is just so sad.... and the only way to justify it is.... look at the beautiful things we make!!! * wink *
