You must admit- life is often Ironic. Like how this picture has nothing to do with the topic.










There is a lovely Christmas story called The Gift of the Magi, in which a poor young couple each decides to buy eachother a Christmas gift- but the only way to afford it is by selling their most prized possions.

She sells her long beautiful hair to buy him a chain for for his heirloom pocket watch. He sells his pocket watch to buy her a jeweled comb for her hair.


That's Irony.


Irony is proof that God has an interesting sense of humor.


Irony is getting a Dance Dance Revoltion game for Christmas when the Xbox 360 is in the shop.

Irony is getting a Leatherman Knife in hard-to-open plastic.

Irony is getting a knitting book from your Mom, that you clearly remember saying you didn't like.
